USH is market leader in free fall and conventional life boat systems for merchant and cruise boats and for offshore installation. We have lately successfully developed next generation Free Fall Life Boat with winch and davit systems according to new DNV regulations for Norwegian Continental Shelf. USH is in the forefront of the market with Our products and have secured numerous contacts this year and in the years to come though frame agreements with the main players in the North sea and also through single contracts signed with Asian based yards building for the North Sea operators.

Service Engineer
This position requires a person with experience as a mechanical fitter in a maintenance environment. Specialized training will be given in our wide range of lifesaving products. While based out of our Dutch office, the job itself will be primarily offsite - onboard ships and offshore installations both locally and worldwide. Due to the nature of the job, applicants will need to be prepared to travel away from home for periods of time. Applicants must also have a drivers license, as the job will include use of the company service vehicles.
Job Description:
- Servicing the products of the company, both on and offsite in marine and offshore related environments
- Preparation of Service Reports and expense claims
- Identification of additional work or material requirements during debriefing sessions
- Ensuring that materials are available prior to the commencement of the job
- Assistance with workshop related activities and onsite product refurbishment
- Responsibility for the maintenance of your work area and tools
- Providing technical experience and information
- Availability to work in any location at all times
- Contribute in ensuring a safe working environment
